Section row span issue

Hi,

I want 2 column in the page, wherein left column, there are 3 rows and right side only 1 single row but a height of the row =3 rows of the left side. so the view would be as below in the image.
Also, I want a separate background color for the left and right column, how can I do that?!
Please suggest changes asap.
