Recent tweets widget links

Greetings!

I just installed the theme over the weekend, and am really liking it. I’m still tweaking it, but really like the easy setup, not to mention it’s beautiful and fast!

Question for you though… my Recent Tweets widget links don’t actually take me to individual tweets on my site, but redirect to the twitter home page (not that helpful). I’ve noticed that recent tweets on the Writing blog preview are doing the same thing (see screenshot). That is, if I click on the link below, I am redirected to twitter.com (when I’d rather go right to the tweet):

Any idea what is going on?
