Portfolio Gallery issue

Hello,

I am trying to add new projects to the Portfolio. The Gallery tab has the top section with Gallery images and uploading images from there does not work. If I use the Upload Images button it will insert images in the body of the description (under Project Description) instead of the top above the description. Similar if I use a shortcode in the top section.
Also if I use an older defined project with a gallery of images that were inserted successfully at that time I can see but cannot edit or remove those images.
Please help.
